Snag It was established to help anyone buying a newly built property. We know how exciting it is to move into somewhere brand new, where everything is shiny, fresh and perfect. But we also know that this isn’t always the case. Some new properties are less than perfect, with various aspects not finished very well, or lacking the attention to detail you deserve – and have paid for.
There are various reasons for this, such as your builder being under pressure to get your property finished in time, not enough after sales customer care, too many people involved in the build and no one taking overall responsibility, or the rising costs of materials leading to corners being cut. Whatever the reason, we are here to make sure it is put right before you move in.
The Snag It team has experience in all aspects of the building process. As well as a background in carpentry, we have also worked in site management and for major home builders. Snag It projects see us liaising with industry bodies such as NHBC and RICS certified surveyors.

Our years in the industry have given us a wide spread of knowledge and expertise. Our founder, Robert Hall, is on the expert panel of hiiguru, the online home build and design advice site. He is also a featured expert at Grand Designs Live 2023, discussing all things building.

Snag It is here to work with you, the homeowner. We have seen too many people move into less than perfect new homes and we want you to have the new home you deserve from day one.
We also work with builders and developers, helping them with the snagging process before completion. We have been amazed to learn how much money the building industry spends on putting things right – the time and cost involved in moving you out and making things good is crazy. It’s around 70% cheaper to do any work before you move in.
And we offer our snagging services to landlords, to make sure their investment portfolio is earning as much as it should, and estate agents to help them achieve a pain-free move in for their customers in to a perfect new home.
